The ATL slang

I really liked ATL, a Black gangsta movie that takes place in Atlanta (Hotlanta). Okay it ain't nowhere on the level of Menace II Society (or Boyz N the Hood for that matter) but it really captured the feel of those movies, the hood you know

T.I. got some great lines, the dialogue in the movie is the real deal, I'm still thinking about it a few days after watching it. He's a bit skinny for the part but he gets by on persona. Supporting cast is solid and mostly unknown (save a couple of grown ups Mykelti Williamson as a shady uncle, and Keith David who's got that great voice)

The movie is directed by Chris Robinson who's background is in rap/r&b videos and you see a lot of that in the rollerskating scenes, they might have gone overboard with that
